Indivisible - Update

Indivisible Naperville hosted a candidate forum Wednesday evening. Candidates for Naperville city council were invited from all parties, although Republican candidates were not there. The meeting was well run and allowed candidates to provide their stump speech. That was followed by a round of questioning to the candidates that covered city budget. diversity and inclusion, sustainability and other topics. NCTV was on-hand to record the meeting. Jodi made strong points regarding diversity and the need for mixed use development for affordable housing. She highlighted the city's failure to adequately assist homeowners impacted by the tornado outbreak last year. The city budget was questioned repeatedly. Jodi is not satisfied that the Naperville government and budget are as efficient as they need to be to keep Naperville on top going into the future.
